A new website is just around some unknown virtual corner
Here we go again. It’s time to update our website and pages. This time the staff at Izaak’s has chosen WordPress for website design. My first look at the WordPress dashboard convinced me that this would be an easier way to build our new website. Now,,,,,I am not so sure. We previously used Godaddy’s Website Tonight, a template driven program for html retards (yes, I am an html retard). After using our old web designer for a year I have become, at least on the surface, competent enough to get a webpage up without errors. Now that I have figured out how to do it one way it is time to scrap everything that I have learned and use a completely different format for designing our future web pages. Bear with me, this is going to be challenging for me, but I hope to provide a clean transition to our new and improved website in the following months. I will write about all of the problems that I am having in the next few weeks and really do not expect anybody to read about my grief, but if you choose to, I hope that my frustrations make you laugh. It has taken me over a month to figure out how to make this simple entry.
