What’s next?

Are you one of the many that think of Izaak’s as a summer time sort of place? If you answered yes, that’s okay. We understand and we won’t hold it against you! Summer has been a great deal of fun!! Now that we have that out of the way, let’s talk Fall.

We all know that the fishing can be “off the hook” in September, October, etc. so we won’t even go there! Put the rod n’ reel in the truck and just leave it. Right beside your shot gun because you never know when a Cast n’ Blast opportunity may arise!! Hunting and fishing in the same day? Brilliant!! Only in Montana. Follow that up with a meal and cocktails with us; you got the makins’ for a perfect day!!

Watch for exciting menu changes as the seasonal bounty of the west ripens and comes to market. The scallop boat is sailing our way with some of the Arctic’s most delectable seafood on board. Well, maybe not really sailing, but you get the drift. (No pun intended!) Just because the season is changing, it does not mean that The Crew at Izaak’s is cooking less. We are open for dinner 7 nights a week through October; lunch served Wednesday-Sunday from 11am-4 pm. Warming soups, comforting surroundings, all the great comforts you’ve come to expect!!

Join us this weekend for two really great performers on The Log Jam. Sunday, September 5 beginning about 6 pm John Floridis will open for Tom Catmull and The Clerics. Don’t be the only one whose not out celebrating the working woman or man as the case may be!! See you there!!

We’re open every night for dinner with a great view and attentive staff! Not to mention a pro kitchen staff that promises to wow us all with fabulous fall cuisine.

We have live music planned through Labor Day weekend,(check it out on the entertainment page),
and will be joining the ‘Parade of Chefs’ on September 24. The Great Falls Home Builders Association has invited us to VIP night! We’ll be serving up tasty morsels and announcing our Holiday plans! Oh yes, Virginia, Christmas is just around the corner!!

Calling all Musicians!!

13 August 2010

We have a couple of dates open this month and a possible weekend or two in September! Are you game to stand atop “The Log Jam”? The summer sun beating on your back.. No! wait! The biggest, nastiest thunderhead you’ve ever seen just came over the Reef!! So much for the thousands of dollars worth of electronics surrounding your feet!!

We have more fun than should be allowed!! Foot stompin’ fun on a deck built from the decking of the old Craig bridge; take a walk back in time. Under the Big Sky; on the banks of the Mighty Mo’!!

You never know who will be standing in the crowd. Could be a talent scout from Hollywood!!
Got what it takes?? We’d like to hear from you!! See you at Izaak’s!!
